Papa went home...

Thank you for all of your prayers and kind words leading up to this moment. Last night, my Papa went home. It was peaceful and serene, an answer to prayers. Though we will all miss him terribly, he is finally at rest with our Lord.

I'm 27!

I celebrated my birthday on the 30th, I'm now the big 2-7! It's crazy to think that another year has gone by. I feel like it was just a few months ago I was celebrating my 26th.

This year I woke up to find my sweet husband making me breakfast. He woke up early to get it all done, and it was delicious! I worked until 12 and then came home for lunch. When Stephen got home for lunch, he brought with him a dozen roses, a sweet card with a sweet gift in it for me, and some of my favorite crack (gum...i'm addicted).

Then for dinner, we decided to branch out and make lobster bisque. I found a recipe online, and miraculously found all of the ingredients here, and it was AMAZING! If you want the recipe, let me know! It rivals some of the better ones we've had!

For dessert, we made the Williams & Sonoma Chocolate Molten cakes...again, delicious! All in all, it was a fantastic birthday. And I have a feeling my 27th year might just be my best one yet!
