This year I woke up to find my sweet husband making me breakfast. He woke up early to get it all done, and it was delicious! I worked until 12 and then came home for lunch. When Stephen got home for lunch, he brought with him a dozen roses, a sweet card with a sweet gift in it for me, and some of my favorite crack (gum...i'm addicted).
Then for dinner, we decided to branch out and make lobster bisque. I found a recipe online, and miraculously found all of the ingredients here, and it was AMAZING! If you want the recipe, let me know! It rivals some of the better ones we've had!
For dessert, we made the Williams & Sonoma Chocolate Molten cakes...again, delicious! All in all, it was a fantastic birthday. And I have a feeling my 27th year might just be my best one yet!
love it! Happy birthday!
ReplyDeleteI want the recipe for the lobster bisque! Yum!! What was the "sweet gift" Stephen gave you along with the flowers...something sexy? Haha! Yes, 27 is going to be an amazing year for you - I can feel it too!!
ReplyDeleteHappy late birthday!!! The bisque looked GREAT however there is no way I could ever make it ... I'd cry having to kill the lobster. We'll just have to settle for the restaurant version. Miss you KT2 :) 27 is a good year - you'll like it!!! I'm almost to 28, yikes!!!
