Rangers...better late than never!

These were taken during the World Series, over a month ago.  But, I want to chronicle these things...so better late than never!

Uncle Brian came over and shared his Rangers Hat...and Knox loved wearing it!

Please excuse his nasty shirt...teething woes!

This BIG BOY can now wear normal shoes.  And I'm so excited!  Now to get him comfortable standing with boats on :)

Homemade Ornament

My sister-in-law is getting quite crafty, so I decided to copy her latest project.  I love how my ornament turned out, and I'm excited to change it up every year to chronicle Knox and our future rugrats as they grow!  Personalized stuff is just so fun :)

new tricks

Knox is full of new tricks these days.  I love the crawling, though he's keeping me on my toes.  I promise he crawls on all fours now, but of course the SECOND I get my camera out and he sees it, he gets lazy and tries to cheat.

One trick he's especially proud of is pulling up.  He's still a bit wobbly once on his feet alone, but he's OBSESSED with standing.  Who can blame him, there are a LOT more things to grab on this new level!

And here's the crawling "cheat."  When he sees the camera or knows I'm filming, he starts snaking to get there faster.  Sorry for the background noise...SportsCenter is a morning staple.

The Rock and Pedicures

My sister-in-law, Lindsay, and I have been training for a goal.  13.1 miles.  And we rocked it!  The WhiteRock Half Marathon was on Sunday, and we finished.  We weren't fast, and we didn't win (ha), but we finished and I couldn't have been more proud crossing the line with her by my side.  Hard work paid off!!

This is the moment we saw our families cheering us on.  They had all the kids in tow, in the freezing wind, but it MADE our race to see their faces.  Stephen's sweet Aunt and Uncle even came, with their dogs and a cute "Go Katie" sign.  Love them!

I got to steal a sweet Knox kiss half way!

And Lindsay stole a kiss from a homeless man.  Just kidding, it's Jeremy.

Mackers was so excited to see us.  She even shared a goldfish with us.  Conner was there, too, but he was sleeping.  NEVER wake a sleeping baby :)

Concentrating on the finish.  We did it!!
Last night, Lindsay and I took our other sweet sis-in-law, Natalie, out for Mani's/Pedi's for her birthday.  It was a well-timed event, and we had a great time!  Of course we forgot to take pictures while we were there...but I went ahead and took one so you'd have a visual.  And to show you that WhiteRock didn't make my feet hobbit'ish.

No, my hand isn't longer than my feet.  Yes, I'm pale.

First Black Eye

Knox was playing peek-a-boo with his crib rails when he slammed his head into them.
It's not as bad as the future ones will be, I'm sure.  But I still felt AWFUL for him.  So sad.

Puffs

Mommy Voice Alert!  It was taken from my phone, hence the quality.
