Christmas Craft

This week for playgroup we decided to do our first (of many, I'm sure) Christmas craft.  We needed a holiday-themed art piece for our revolving kitchen frame (see Halloween and Thanksgiving here and here), so the timing was perfect.  We packed our lunch and headed over to Caroline's, and once the kids were fed and in jolly moods, we started the project.

All of the kids really enjoyed (well, tolerated) the craft.

Well, everyone enjoyed it except Knox.  He hates things on his hands.  Like, REALLY hates.  The minute I put the paint on, he freaked.  Our final product even had a lovely drool stain on the bottom.  Ridiculous.

See the snot and drool.  Apparently dirty hands = end of the world.

But we did it.  We pushed through, and the final piece is adorable.

Before we could leave, Alex and Knox had to hug and kiss.  They are so cute!!!

They seriously kissed 5 times so we could get it on camera.

Once we got home we placed our artwork in it's new home in the kitchen.

So festive...

Thanks Amanda for the supplies, idea, and mad camera skills!
